A rod almost a year in the making - I wanted to create something special for Capt. Mike Richow of Screamin' Minnow Charters. This was a GREAT opportunity to create a casting-style rod, something I've not done before!

Things I learned while building this rod

Other than it being difficult to get used to starting the wraps on the side "opposite" where the guides rested, it was pretty straightforward!

The Handleset for #60. The custom rear grip

The casting reel seat with blue hood.

The custom foregrip. One of several inscriptions on the butt section. "Screamin' Minnow Rod #1"
The diamond wrap really sets this rod apart.

The model number (this blank has since been discontinued)

The lower inscription.
A look at one of the guides.

The Tip Top.
