Main Wraps - Gudebrod Nylon , Size A, Classic Twist Black & Orange (0221). Diamond Wrap adds HT Metallic in Silver and Copper, plus Nylon Size A, Navy (0066).

This rod was available for purchase; my asking price was $195. It is now BOB Brown's Rod (aka. Gumbo).

A very straightforward build - a more simple build that incorporates some busy elements (such as the reel seat) so even the decorative wraps were kept relatively simple. 3 basic color form this rod's look, the oranges, silvers and deep blues.

Things I learned while building this rod

KISS ring a bell? It's perhaps not the MOST eyecatching rod I've ever built, but it comes together cleanly.
